Delivered a banking hub
After two years of campaigning, including on-site visits with LINK, I was delighted when my application for a banking hub on Hertford Road was approved. With a banking hub, we will have high street banks operating from it, allowing you to do your everyday banking like a traditional bank branch. It also means our local businesses don't have to travel miles for basic needs like cash deposits. I am working with LINK to ensure the doors will open for this in 2024.

Returned Chase Farm UTC to full time hours
As someone who has used Chase Farm’s Urgent Care Centre and seen first-hand the amazing work the staff do there, I know how important the service is for residents and for tackling local NHS backlogs. That’s why over a year and a half ago when the hours were cut, I fought tooth and nail to ensure the Hospital returned to full-time hours for residents. I know its return to its previous opening hours will be welcomed by everyone.

Protected our rail station ticket offices
One in nine tickets are still sold at physical ticket offices. I know how vital they are to residents in Enfield North and our rail network. When the Government announced they were planning on closing them around the country, I launched a local petition to stop them from taking place and wrote to the Rail Minister. Basic questions on how this would impact disabled and older passengers and the roll-out of technology in stations were left unanswered.

Helped over 18,000 residents
I have worked hard for our community, helping over 18,000 residents and local businesses that have come to me with their issues, especially during the covid lockdowns, and more recently through the cost-of-living crisis.

Secured a commitment to increase police numbers in Enfield North
Following four years of constant campaigning, I have secured more policing support for Enfield residents, with these resources arriving this year.
