As your Member of Parliament for Enfield North, I want to address road safety concerns in our community and work alongside residents to do this.

One of the most effective measures to tackle speeding is having a 20mph zone on all the roads connected to yours (i.e. Percival Road, Bertram Road, Clive Road). 

That is why I ran a petition for residents on Bertram, Clive and Percival Road in 2022, to gather their views on what they wanted to change. I also organised a walkabout with Jeremy Leach from 20’s Plenty and residents to discuss their concerns in more detail.

The results were clear: residents are fed up with the rat running and dangerous speeding on their front doors.
